Domitian, as Caesar, 69-81. Denarius (Silver, 17 mm, 3.45 g, 12 h), Ephesus, 71. DOMITIANVS CAESAR AVG F Bareheaded and cuirassed bust of Domitian to right, wearing aegis. Rev. CONCORDIA AVG E(PHE) Ceres seated left, holding grain ears and poppy in right hand, cornucopia in left. BMC 470 (Vespasian). Cohen 38. RIC 1446 (Vespasian). RPC 847. An excellent portrait of the young Domitian, albeit with features that are curiously like those of Nero! Good very fine.

COS IIII Pegasus standing to right, raising his left foreleg. BMC 193. Cohen 47. RIC 921. A bright example. Obverse legends a bit soft, otherwise, about extremely fine.
