PAMPHYLIA. Perge. Saloninus, 258-260 AD. 10 Assaria (Bronze, 33 mm, 13.60 g, 1 h). ΠO ΛIK CAΛΩN OYAΛEΡIANO[C CB] Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Saloninus to right, above an eagle standing facing, head to left and spread wings; in field to right, I (mark of value). Rev. ΠEPΓA[IΩ]N NEΩKOPΩN /A The Tyche of Perge, standing facing, her head turned to left, wearing calathus, holding cornucopia with her left hand and rudder with her right. Apparently unpublished. With a dark patina and earthen highlights. Rough surfaces and with a flan fault on the obverse, otherwise, good fine.

CΙΔΗΤΩΝ Athena standing left, depositing ostraca held in right hand into voting urn at her feet, and holding palm branch in left. Cf. BMC 93 (for the same reverse, but Gordian III). PISIDIA. Antiochia. Caracalla, 198-217. (Bronze, 33 mm, 27.97 g, 5 h). IMP CAES M AVR ANTONINVS AVG Laureate head of Caracalla to right. Rev. VIRT AVG COL ANTIOCH / SR Caracalla on horseback to right; thrusting a javelin, held in his upraised right hand, at a kneeling enemy below. SNG BN 1138. Beautifully struck from very well-made dies: with a fine portrait, a reverse in high relief and a lovely light green patina. Pierced for suspension in antiquity, and with encrustations as found, otherwise, about extremely fine.
