Plautilla, Augusta, 202-205. Denarius (Silver, 20.5 mm, 7.03 g, 6 h), struck under Septimius Severus and Caracalla, Rome. PLAVTILLAE AVGVSTAE Draped bust of Plautilla to right, her hair in waves gathered into a bun at the back. Rev. PROPAGO IMPERI Plautilla, on the left, draped, standing to right and gathering her drapery in her left hand, and Caracalla, on the right togate and with a roll in his left hand, standing left, clasping their right hands together. BMC 405 (Caracalla). Callicó 2873. Cohen 22. RIC 362. Very rare. Toned. Marks in the fields and on the portrait, very probably once mounted, otherwise, very fine.
