Crab within shallow circular incuse, seen from above. Campana 22. Jameson 667 (same dies). Jenkins, Punic 47 (O6/R9). HGC 2, 923. SNG ANS 501 (same obverse die). SNG Copenhagen 481 (same obverse die). Light scratches and flan flaw on reverse, otherwise, nearly very fine.

Π Ι Α Κ Head of youthful river god to left, wearing a wreath of reeds and with a horn above his forehead; in field to left, three pellets. Rev. Dog springing right on the back of a doe collapsing to right; to right, and left, wheat grain. AMB 397. CNS 2. HGC 1101. Rizzo pl. LX, 14. Rare. With a smooth, dark brown patina. About extremely fine.

SICILY. Segesta. Circa 475/70-455/50 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 22.5 mm, 8.51 g, 1 h). ΣΕΓΕ[ΣΤΑ-ΖΙΒ] (retrograde) Hound, the rivergod Krimisos, standing to right. Rev. Head of the nymph Aigeste to right, her hair bound with a taenia; all within a linear circular border. Hurter 57 (V18/R35). McClean 2532 (same dies). SNG ANS 618 (same dies). Well centered and lightly toned. Fine.
