ΚΑVΛ Apollo, nude, his hair bound with a taenia, advancing to right, with a laurel branch in his upraised right hand and a daimon running to right on his outstretched left arm. Rev. ΚΑV (retrograde) Stag standing to right; to right, laurel branch. HN III 2046. Noe, Caulonia 88. SNG Lloyd 575 (same dies). Attractively toned. Minor areas of flatness, otherwise, about extremely fine.

Rev. ΚΡΟΤΩΝΙΑΤΑΝ Youthful Herakles seated to left on a rock draped with his lion's skin, holding a one-handled cup in his right hand and resting his left on his club; below, bow. Basel 198. HN III 2167. SNG ANS 371. SNG Lloyd 616. SNG Oxford 1521-1522. Obverse struck a little off center, remnants of hoard patina and light roughness, otherwise, very fine.
