CELTIC, Carpathian region. Uncertain tribe. Late 2nd-early 1st century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver plated bronze, 27 mm, 8.36 g, 9 h), "Herakleskopf" type. Head of Herakles in a lionskin headdress to right. Rev. Rider to right. Demski 1168. Karl 493 (same dies). Lanz 566. OTA 253. Clear. Chipped on the edge, and with the obverse struck from a worn die, otherwise, very fine.
