ΛEYKI-ΠΠOΣ Helmeted head of Leukippos to right; behind, hound seated left, forepaw raised; below neck truncation, [Σ]. Rev. META Barley ear of seven grains, leaf to right; above leaf, dove to right; A[MI] below leaf; in the left field, graffito of ΦPY. HN III 1576. Johnson Class B, 20. Scrape on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.

From the collection of W. Belser, Zürich, prior to 1965, and that of his son, acquired in the early 1970s.

ΜΕΤΑ Ear of barley with leaf to left; above leaf, club; below leaf, ΔΙ. HN III . Johnston Class C, 1.10 (same dies). SNG ANS 488 (same obverse die). Lightly toned. A few minor deposits, otherwise, very fine.

Head of Demeter to right, wearing wreath of barley ears and triple-pendant earring; below chin, [ΔΑΙ]. Rev. ΜΕΤΑ Ear of barley with leaf to right; to right, on leaf, plow; below leaf, Μ[ΑΧ]. HN III 1581. Johnston Class C, 1.60 (same dies). Attractive, clear and toned. Some corrosion, primarily on the obverse. Good very fine.
