ΛAOΔI-KEΩN The river god Lykos (wolf in Greek), standing to right in the form of a wolf. BMC 52-3. Weber 7129. An attractive and clear example, with a lovely green patina. Good very fine.

Cista mystica with half-open lid from which a serpent issues to the left; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. ΛΑΟ / P LENTVLVS [P] · F / PRO · COS Two serpents coiled around a bow case; to right, winged caduceus; below, ΑΝΑΞΑΓΟΡΑΣ / [Α]ΡΤΕΜΙΔ[ΩΡΟΥ]. LRC -. Pinder -. Stumpf -.
