THRACE. Odessos. mid 3rd century BC. (Bronze, 16 mm, 5.62 g, 2 h). Female head to right, wearing tainia. Rev. Odessos reclining to left on plinth inscribed ΟΔΗΣΙΤΩ[Ν]; inverted amphora on the upper left field; uncertain letter on the exergue. AMNG I 2177. HGC 3.2, 1593 corr (no cornucopia). SNG Copenhagen 669. Green patina with light earthen highlights. Unusually well-struck for type. Very fine.

[ΟΔΗΣΙΤ]ΩΝ Odessos reclining to left on rock-bed, holding phiale in his right hand, and cornucopia in his left; inverted amphora on the upper left field; in exergue, monogram. HGC 3.2, 1594. Dark green patina with light earthen deposits. Pitting and light scratches, otherwise, fine.
