Head of Demeter to left, wearing wreath of grain ears, triple pendant earring and pearl necklace. Rev. ΜΕΤΑ Ear of barley with leaf to left; above leaf, pair of tongs; below leaf [AΘA]. BMC 107 (same obv. die). HN III 1583. Johnston Class C, 4.25 (same dies). Some horn silver on the obverse, otherwise, very fine / extremely fine.

HN III 1582. Johnston Class C 5.9. SNG Fitzwilliam 506 (same obverse die). Fine style. Some weakly struck areas, otherwise, good very fine.

Head of Demeter to left, wearing grain wreath, triple pendant earring and pearl necklace. Rev. ΜΕΤΑ Ear of barley with eight grains and with leaf to right; above leaf, fork or rake; below leaf, ΑΔ. HN III 1582. Johnston Class C. 5.11 (same dies). Cf. SNG Fitzwilliam 506. A nicely struck example exhibiting a rich early Hellenistic style. Traces of overstriking, otherwise, good very fine.
