Head of Demeter to right, wearing wreath of barley ears and triple pendant earring; below chin, [ΔΑΙ]. Rev. ΜΕΤΑ Ear of barley, with leaf to right; above leaf, plow to right; below leaf, ΜΑ[Χ]. HN III 1581. Johnston Class C, 1.60 (same dies). Attractive, clear and bright. A few marks, otherwise, good very fine.

Head of Demeter facing, turned slightly to the right, wearing wreath of grain ears, triple pendant earrings, and necklace; in the lower right field, in very small letters, here barely visible, AΠ. Rev. META Barley ear with leaf to right; above leaf, bucranium; below leaf, AΘ[A]. HN III 1584. Johnston Class C, 2.2-4 (same obv. die). SNG Copenhagen 1220 (same obv. die). With an obverse of flamboyant Hellenistic style. Typical short flan with minor scuffs, flatness and roughness, otherwise, good very fine.
