THRACE. Bizya. Time of Hadrian, 117-138. Assarion (Bronze, 22 mm, 6.40 g, 6 h). ΔΙΟΝΥС-Ω ΚΤΙСΤΗ Dionysos seated to right on throne, holding grape bunch in his right hand and a single grape in his left; behind to left, vine. Rev. ΒΙΖΥΗΝ-ωΝ Tyche standing left, holding uncertain objects; to left, river god reclining right, holding reed in his left hand. Jurukova 165. RPC III 736. A few uncleaned deposits as found, otherwise, very fine.

This is one of the few cases where a city-founder is depicted as a full figure rather than with a head or bust only.
