Quadripartite incuse square with two raised and two sunken squares; in one of the sunken squares, pellet and monogram(?); in the other, amphora. BMC 21. Dewing 1305. McClean 4066. SNG Copenhagen 837. Weber 2406. Lightly toned. Obverse struck slightly off-center, bearing a small test cut on edge, otherwise, very fine.

Quadripartite incuse square with two raised and two sunken squares; in one of the sunken squares, grape bunch; in the other, rayed pellet. Cf. BMC 11. Cf. McClean 4079. Cf. Weber 2419and 2434 (all with lion to right). An interesting ancient copy, not plated. Toned. Lightly porous. Very fine.

THRACE. Maroneia. Circa 398/7-348/7 BC. Triobol (Silver, 14 mm, 2.77 g, 10 h). H-P Forepart of a horse to left. Rev. Μ-Α Grape bunch on vine; all within dotted linear square in shallow incuse square. HGC 3.2, 1534. McClean 3964 (same rev. die). Schönert-Geiss 197 (V12/R15). Well-struck, nicely centered and with a fine toning. Nearly extremely fine.
