EPEIROS. Ambrakia. Circa 360-338 BC. Stater (Silver, 22.5 mm, 8.44 g, 1 h). A Pegasus with straight wings flying to right. Rev. Head of Athena to left, wearing Corinthian helmet with a neck flap; behind neck, oinochoe to left. Calciati 121. HGC 3.1, 213. Very rare with this reverse symbol. Toned and with a very well-centered reverse. Obverse struck from a slightly worn die, otherwise, very fine.
