PHRYGIA. Hieropolis. Pseudo-autonomous issue, 3rd century. Assarion (Bronze, 21.5 mm, 5.66 g, 8 h). ΔΗΜΟC Diademed and draped bust of Demos to right. Rev. ΙЄΡΟΠ-ΟΛЄΙΤΩΝ Mên standing facing, head turned to right, resting right foot on head of boar, holding long scepter in right hand and pine cone in left. BMC 5. SNG Copenhagen -. Lovely strike and well centered; nice hard green patina. Light porosity on lower half of reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.

ΙEΡΑΠO-ΛEΙΤΩN Isis standing facing, head left, holding sistrum in her right hand and situla in her left. RPC IV Online temp. 2040. SNG Copenhagen 426-7. Attractive with excellent centering and a nice green patina. Very fine.

The portrait of Zeus of particularly good style. Very fine.
