KINGS OF THRACE. Lysimachos, 305-282/1 BC. (Bronze, 19 mm, 4.98 g, 12 h), uncertain mint in Thrace, possibly Lysimacheia. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛYΣIMAXOY Lion leaping right; below, spearhead to right. HGC 3, 1758. Müller 61. SNG Copenhagen 1149. Perfectly centered, well-struck and with a lovely olive grey patina. Possible traces of graffiti on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.

THRACO-MACEDONIAN TRIBES, Mygdones or Krestones. Circa 485-480 BC. 1/8 Stater (Silver, 11.5 mm, 1.01 g). Goat kneeling right on pelleted ground line, his head turned back to left; above and to right, dotted rosette; [to right, pellet]. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Lorber, Goats, Issue 6. SNG ANS 59ff var (just dot above goat). Well-centered and scarce. Slightly porous as usual, otherwise, good very fine.
