CO/L- BE/R Poseidon, nude, standing to left, his right foot set on a galley, holding a trident in his left hand and a dolphin with his right. Babelon, Perses, 1313. Rouvier 594. Brown patina. About very fine.

[ΑΥΤΟ] ΤΡΑΙ ΚΑΙ [ΑΔΡΙΑΝΩ ΣΕΒ] Laureate head of Hadrian to right, [with slight drapery on his left shoulder]. Rev. ΣΙΔΩΝΟΣ / ΘΕΑΣ Europa riding bull to right; date ZΚΣ in the field above. BC 224. Rouvier 1473. RPC III 3869. A clear example with glossy green patina. Struck on a tight flan, and with a flat area on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
