LYDIA. Saitta. Caracalla, 198-217. Assarion (Bronze, 21 mm, 4.58 g, 6 h). AY•K• M AY• ANTΩN-EINO Laureate and cuirassed bust of Caracalla to right, seen from the back. Rev. CΑΙΤΤΗΝΩ/Ν / ΥΛΛΟC The river-god Hyllos reclining to left on urn from which water flows, holding reed in his right hand and cornucopia in his left. Apparently unpublished in the standard references. Same dies as Helios 3 (2009), 498. Dark grey-green patina. Very fine.

EΠΙ ΜEΛΙΤΩΝΩC ΑΡΧ Zeus standing to left, holding eagle in his outstretched right hand and staff with his left. BMC 5-6. RPC III 2432. SNG Tübingen 3766. Golden-brown surfaces. Very fine.
