ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ Forepart of horned horse to right; above left, Seleukid anchor; in field to right, monogram within circle. HGC 9, 87. SC 269.2. Rare and desirable, with a glossy brown patina. Very fine.

HGC 107a. SC 6.1. An elegant coin, nicely patinated and with attractive details. Some deposits, otherwise, very fine.

SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos I Soter, 281-261 BC. Chalcous (Bronze, 11 mm, 1.35 g, 3 h), Antioch on-the-Orontes. Macedonian shield with anchor in central boss and six double crescents around. Rev. BAΣI / ANTI War elephant walking to right; above, monogram and club; below, jawbone. HGC 9, 195. SC 341. WSM 947. Scarcely encountered (if encountered) in such nice condition. Earthen deposits/highlights, otherwise, good very fine.
