ΣΕΛΕΥΚΕΩΝ ΤΩΝ ΠΡΟΣ ΤΩΙ ΚΑΛΥΚΑΔΝΩΙ Nike advancing left, holding wreath; in the left field, two monograms. SNG Levante 684 var (obverse controls). SNG France 911. Glossy dark patina overlaid with earthen deposits/highlights. Very fine.

Amazon, wearing a pointed bonnet, with drapery around her waist and at least one breast bare, kneeling to left, holding her bow with both hands; at her waist, gorytos; in field to left and between her legs, ivy leaf; in field to right, Corinthian helmet left. Rev. ΣΟΛΕΩΝ Large bunch of grapes; to right, laurel branch; all within border of dots in an incuse square. Casabonne types 1-2 var. SNG Levante 37. SNG France 124 var. Sharply struck from new dies. Obverse struck slightly flat; overstruck on a similar piece, otherwise, extremely fine.
