LYDIA. Tralleis. Circa 166-67 BC. Cistophoric Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 12.04 g, 12 h), c. 155-145. Cista mystica from which snake coils; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. Two snakes coiled around a bow case; to left, TPAΛΛI; to right, uncertain symbol. Apparently unpublished. With an unusually complete ethnic for Tralleis. Some rough areas and cleaning marks, otherwise, about very fine.

LYDIA. Tralleis. Circa 166-67 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 2.84 g, 12 h), Cistophoric series, struck under the magistrate, Arte..., c. 133-127. Lion's skin draped over club; all within ivy wreath. Rev. TPAΛΛ / APTE Grape bunch on vine; to right, Tyche standing to left. Possibly unpublished, but cf. SNG von Aulock 3267 (didrachm with this magistrate, but with a different symbol). Extremely rare. Some surface roughness, otherwise, nearly very fine.
