TROAS. Antandros. Late 5th-early 4th Century BC. Drachm (Silver, 15 mm, 3.81 g, 10 h). Head of Artemis Astyrene to right, her hair held with a criss-cross band. Rev. ΑΝΤΑ-Ν Goat standing to right. Boston 1623. SNG von Aulock 7579. Traité II 2278. Attractive early Classical style. Well-centred and toned. A rare and interesting type reminiscent of the contemporary issues from Aino issues. Slightly porous, otherwise, very fine.
