MYSIA. Pergamon. Circa 166-67 BC. Cistophoric Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 11.98 g, 12 h), c. 76. Cista mystica from which snake coils; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. Two snakes coiled around a bow case; to left, monogram of ΠEPΓ; to right, serpent-entwined staff of Asclepius; between snakes' heads, AΠ above monogram of ΠPYT. Kleiner, Hoard 24. SNG Paris 1727-8 var (star next to AΠ). Nicely toned. Obverse struck from the usual slightly worn die, otherwise, good very fine.
