KORKYRA. Korkyra. Circa 510-480 BC. Stater (Silver, 18 mm, 11.08 g). Cow standing right, her head turned back to left to lick calf suckling to left. Rev. Double stellate pattern – one with a square and the other with a rectangle at its center – within a double inear rectangle; all within an incuse square. BMC 39. McClean 5202. SNG Copenhagen 141. SNG Evelpidis 1868. Toned and nicely centered. On a tight flan and overstruck on a "turtle", otherwise, very fine.

Head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet; behind, tripod within laurel wreath, inscribed ANA on its base. BCD 116.2 (same reverse die). Calciati 33/1. Toned and lustrous. Good very fine.
