THESSALY. Trikka. Circa 440-400 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 16 mm, 2.69 g, 5 h). Youthful hero, Thessalos, nude but for cloak and petasos hanging over his shoulder, striding right, holding a band in both his hands around the head of the forepart of a bull moving right. Rev. TΡIK-K-A-ON (retrograde) Forepart of bridled horse to right, his head turned very slightly to front. BCD II 776.3 var (different legend arrangements). HGC 4, 311. Toned. Scratches, scuffs and marks. About very fine.
