Head of youthful Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus seated left on backless throne, holding eagle in his right hand and long scepter in his left; to left, monogram of ΜΕ; below throne, ivy leaf. Price 1560. An attractive, nicely toned example. Some minor scuffs, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.

Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 16.90 g, 12 h), posthumous issue, struck under Antigonos I Monophthalmos or Lysimachos, uncertain mint in western Asia Minor, 310-290. Head of youthful Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. AΛEΞANΔΡOΥ Zeus seated left on backless throne, holding eagle on his outstretched right hand and long scepter in his left; in field to left, bunch of grapes. Price - (cf. 589 for Pella and 947 Dionysopolis, but both of completely different style). Same dies as CNG e-auction 375 (2016), 267. A well-centered piece of bold style. Good very fine.

Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. AΛEΞANΔPOY Zeus seated left on low throne, holding eagle in his right hand and long scepter in his left; to left, dolphin swimming downwards; in exergue, bukranion between T - I. Price 850. SNG Saroglos 371 (same dies). Same obverse die as Nomos 15, 2017, 78. Rare. Lightly toned and attractive. Struck on a broad flan. Reverse slightly doubled, otherwise, good very fine.
