ATTICA. Athens. Circa 449-404 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 17.15 g, 10 h), c. 430. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet with palmette and three olive leaves, the first going over the crest. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, head facing; behind, olive spray and crescent moon. Agora XXVI 8b. Svoronos Pl. 11, 5; Pl. 12, 21-24. Attractive and bright. Very minor flan crack, otherwise, extremely fine.
