BRUTTIUM. The Brettii. Circa 211-208 BC. Unit (Bronze, 21 mm, 8.32 g, 6 h). Laureate head of Zeus to right; thunderbolt behind his neck. Rev. ΒΡΕΤΤΙΩΝ Nude warrior advancing to right, holding spear and large shield; at his feet to right, bunch of grapes. HN III 1988. Scheu 42. SNG ANS 102. Nice green patina as found. Nearly extremely fine.
