ISLAMIC, Ottoman Empire. Mehmed IV, AH 1058-1099 / AD 1648-1687. Timmin (Silver, 20 mm, 2.23 g, 6 h), Countermarked coinage, dated AH 1080 = 1669-1670 AD. "naqd sahin" countermark on a douzième of Louis XIV (1643-1715), minted in Paris in 1643. Duplessy 1461. Gadoury 201 for host coin. Wilski p. 134, Tim 01 for countermark. Very rare and struck on a rare host coin. Good very fine.
