ISLAMIC, al-Andalus (Spain). Nasrids of Granada. Anonymous, AH 879- 896 = 1474-1491 AD. Falus (Bronze, 17 mm, 2.55 g, 6 h), Malaga mint, dated AH 892 = 1486-1487. Vives 2230. Rodrigues Lorente 96. Very rare. Some flat areas, otherwise, very fine.



This coin was minted just four years before the treaty of Granada and the surrender of the last emirate of the Iberian peninsula to the Castilians.
