BRUTTIUM. The Brettii. Circa 216-214 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 4.66 g, 10 h), issued during the Second Punic War. Diademed and draped bust of Nike to right; behind, sphinx seated to right. Rev. BPETTIΩN Dionysos standing facing, crowning himself and holding scepter; to right, shield above monogram. HN III 1964. Scheu II 66. Finely toned. Thin die break on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.

BPETTI[ΩN] Zeus, holding thunderbolt and scepter, driving biga to left; below, bunch of grapes. HN III 1989. Scheu 46. SNG ANS 112. A clear, sharp and well centered example, with a fine green-brown patina. Extremely fine.

BPETTION Hera Hoplosima advancing right, holding shield with both hands and spear leaning against her; to right, bunch of grapes. HN Italy 1987. Scheu 38. SNG ANS 94ff. Of fine style and with an attractive, light green patina. Very fine.
