LUCANIA. Metapontum. Circa 300-250 BC. (Bronze, 12 mm, 1.36 g, 3 h). Laureate head of Pan right. Rev. META Ear of barley with leaf to right; syrinx right above leaf. HN III 1678. Johnston Bronze 43a. SNG Morcom 286. Light brown patina, fine style, and in unusually fine condition for a Greek bronze coin. Extremely fine.
