APULIA. Canusium. Circa 300-250 BC. Obol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.24 g, 5 h). Kantharos flanked by cornucopia and oinochoe. Rev. K-A Lyre. HN III 657. SNG ANS 692. A rarely encountered issue. Struck on a particularly broad and thin flan. Edge slightly broken at 7h, otherwise, very fine.

From the Vineyard Collection, bought privately from H. J. Berk in February 1998.

APULIA. Neapolis. Circa 325-250 BC.(Bronze, 16 mm, 3.42 g, 8 h). Wreathed head of Dionysos right; thyrsos over shoulder. Rev. ΝΕΑΠ Grape vine with cluster. HN III 800. SNG ANS 711. Very rare; particularly attractively patinated. Obverse slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.

APULIA. Teate. Circa 225-200 BC. Teruncius (Bronze, 22 mm, 11.50 g, 4 h). Diademed head of Poseidon to right; three pellets (mark of value) to right. Rev. TIATI Poseidon (?) riding dolphin to left, holding an amphora in his right hand and a trident with his left; to right, crescent above the dolphin's tail; below, three pellets. BMC 16. HN III 705. SNG ANS 1231. SNG Munich 537. Scarce in such good condition; clear, attractive and with a lovely green patina. Edge fault on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
