DYNASTS OF LYCIA. Kuprilli, Circa 470/60-440/35 BC. Stater (Silver, 18.5 mm, 8.65 g, 8 h), Telmessos (?). Bull butting to left. Rev. Κ]Ο - ΠΡ - ΛΛΕ Triskeles to left; all within a square beaded border in an incuse square. Müseler IV 35 var (obol). Mørkholm & Zahle, (Kuprlli) 105 (A28/P29). Same dies as Goldberg 72, 2013, 4370. Rare. Test cut on the obverse at 10h and some minor scratches, otherwise, very fine.

DYNASTS OF LYCIA. Vekhssere I, circa 450-430 BC. Stater (Silver, 19 mm, 8.37 g, 11 h), Xanthos, c. 440-430. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with three olive leaves and palmette, round earring and pearl necklace. Rev. Laureate head of Apollo right; diskeles to right. Müseler V 7 (same dies). Vismara, Wekhssere, 51. A rare and elegant coin. Some striking flatness, double-striking and with an obverse struck from a worn die, otherwise, good very fine.
