TROAS. Birytis. Circa 350-300 BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 10 mm, 1.05 g, 6 h). Head of bearded Kabyros to right, wearing conical pileos. Rev. Β-Ι / ΡΥ (retrograde). Triskeles. SNG Copenhagen 252-253. SNG Munich 171. An attractive coin in high relief, with a dark green patina. Slightly rough, otherwise, good very fine.

Lion’s head with open jaws to right; behind, rectangle divided into two squares; all incuse. BMC 7-9. Bodenstedt 16. SNG von Aulock 1688 and 7719. Rare. Obverse struck from a rusty die and reverse struck slightly off-center, otherwise, good very fine.
