THESSALY. Skotussa. Circa 394-367 BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 12.5 mm, 2.92 g, 12 h). Head of youthful, beardless Herakles to left, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. Σ - ΚΟ Forepart of bridled horse to right, his head slightly lowered; all within shallow circular incuse. BCD II 737.1. With an amazing natural green patina. Obverse struck slightly off-center on an irregular flan, otherwise, about extremely fine.
