THESSALY. Kierion. Early to mid 4th Century BC.. (Bronze, 16 mm, 2.94 g, 3 h). Laureate and bearded head of Zeus to left. Rev. [KIEPI-AION] Arne, half-kneeling to her left and playing with knucklebones to her right. BCD II 107.2 (same dies). Obverse struck slightly off-center, otherwise, very fine.

Ex obolos 5, 26 June 2016, 169 (unpaid).

THESSALY. Lamia. Circa 360s-350s BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 15.5 mm, 2.72 g, 12 h). Head of Dionysos to left, wearing ivy wreath. Rev. ΛΑΜΙΕ-ΩΝ Amphora with tall handles; above, ivy leaf; to right, prochous with handle to right. BCD II 123. SNG Copenhagen 77. Toned, of fine style and struck on good silver. Nearly very fine.

ΛΑΜΙΕ-ΩΝ Amphora with tall handles; above, ivy leaf; to right, prochous with handle to right. BCD II 127.1. Relatively scarce as a denomination. Toned and with a sharp reverse. Some scrapes and marks, otherwise, good very fine.
