Christ Pantokrator enthroned facing; two stars above throne. Rev. Name, titles and ancestors of Fakhr al-Din Qara Arslan in four lines and in margins. Album 1820.2. S&S Type 2.1 var (no numerals). Very rare variety; green patina light earthen highlights. Very fine.

Dirhem (Bronze, 28 mm, 17.54 g, 5 h), Hisn Kayfa or Amid mint, struck AH 556 (AD 1160/1). Bareheaded and draped half-length male bust facing slightly to left, holding globe and scepter; abjad date to left. Rev. Arabic inscription in four lines, stating the name and titles of Fakhr al-Din Qara Arslan; arabesque below. Album 1820.4. ICV 1176. S&S Type 4. A very unusual and scarce type. Slightly rough surfaces. Nearly very fine.

Dirham (Bronze, 31 mm, 12.37 g, 2 h), Unlisted mint, possibly Mardin, dated AH 558 = 1163/4 AD. Arabic inscription stating the name and titles of Najm al-Din Alpi around diademed and draped male bust, with long hair, facing slightly to left. Rev. Arabic inscription stating the ancestors of Najm al-Din Alpi, around facing crowned bust; date on inner left and right fields. Album 1827.4. S&S Type 29.1. Whelan Type II, 42-3. Attractive green patina. Some roughness, otherwise, very fine.
