Dark green-brown patina; extremely rare type and apparently unpublished prior to Kovacs in 2016; interesting variation in the inscription with the use of the Σ instead of C. Very fine.

Diademed head of Mithradates II to left wearing bashlyk; countermark of a horse head to right, punched against his neck. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ MIΘPAΔATOY ΦIΛOΠ club within wreath; MIΘ countermark below. ACV 193-194. Alram 248. Kovacs 36. for c/m Kovacs 11 (obverse) and 22 (reverse). Fine details for type and a solid dark brown patina and clear fields; in an unusually good condition for type. Some deposits, otherwise, very fine.
