AKARNANIA. Leukas. Circa 380-320 BC. Trihemiobol (Silver, 10 mm, 0.66 g, 12 h). Λ Pegasos, with straight wing, flying to left. Rev. Facing Gorgoneion. BCD Akarnania 228-229. HGC 4, 851. An attractive piece. Obverse slightly off-center, otherwise, very fine.

Head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet; behind neck, Λ and grasshopper. BCD Akarnania -. Calciati 112. Toned and well-struck; a very rare variety with the grasshopper. Very minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
