Unpublished with the inscription on the reverse. Cf. HGC 6, 61. Gorny & Mosch 245 (2017), 1256 (same dies). Very rare; the third known example. Nearly very fine.

AKARNANIA. Anaktorion. Circa 350-300 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 8.28 g, 10 h). Pegasos flying left; below, monogram of AN. Rev. AN Helmeted head of Athena to left; to right, tripod within wreath. BCD Akarnania 83. HGC 4, 755. Pegasi 29. Attractive old cabinet toning. Minor scratches and both sides slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.

AKARNANIA. Argos Amphilochikon. Circa 330-300 BC. Hemiobol (Bronze, 17 mm, 6.38 g, 7 h). Head of Hermes to right. Rev. APΓEIΩN Dog standing to right; below, scorpion; in exergue, spear-head. BCD Akarnania 146-148 var. An extremely rare and unpublished coin, without doubt one of the best available examples of the series. Good very fine.
