THESSALY. Skotussa. Circa 462/1-460 BC. Obol (Silver, 11.5 mm, 0.85 g, 6 h). Head and neck of bull to left, head facing; above, dolphin to right. Rev. ϟΚ - Ο Head of bridled horse to right; all within incuse square. BCD 1331 var. (same reverse die). Very rare. Somewhat rough surfaces, but toned. Flan fault, otherwise, very fine.

EPEIROS. Ambrakia. Circa 480-458 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 8.29 g, 2 h), c. 480s. A Pegasos with curved wings, flying to right. Rev. Head of Athena (or more appropriately, Aphrodite) to right, wearing Corinthian helmet. Ravel, Ambrakia 1-2. Clear, well-struck and nicely toned. Some die flaws, otherwise, very fine.
