THESSALY. Krannon. Circa 350-300. Chalkous (Bronze, 15 mm, 2.03 g, 4 h). Λ-E Thessalian horseman galloping to left. Rev. ΚΡΑΝ / ΛE Bull butting to right; trident above. BCD II 118.14. An attractive example with a black patina. Nearly extremely fine.

THESSALY. Larissa. Circa 479-465 BC. Obol (Silver, 10.5 mm, 1.02 g, 9 h). Head of the nymph Larissa to right, her hair bound with a ribbon and tied at the back. Rev. ΛA Jason's sandal to left, all within incuse square. BCD II 139 & 348.2 (same dies). Hermann group 1c, pl. I, 4. SNG Ashmolean 3843. Rare. Very well-struck on a full flan. Usual die break on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
