Head of Demeter to right, wearing barley wreath, triple-pendant earring and a simple necklace, and with a light veil at the back of her head; to left and right, Α Π. Rev. ΜΕΤΑ Ear of barley with leaves to right and left; to left, above leaf, tripod; to right, above leaf and below inscription, ΠΡΟ. HN III 1566. Johnston Class A, 7.4. An attractive example, sharply struck and very elegant. Extremely fine.
