INDIA, Kushan Empire. Vima Kadphises, c. 100-127/8. Dinar (Gold, 20mm, 7.98 g 12), Mint I (A). Diademed and crowned half-length bust of Vima Kadphises to right on clouds, holding, in his right hand, a mace-scepter over his shoulder; at shoulder, flames; to left, tamgha. Rev. Ithyphallic Siva standing facing, head left, holding composite trident with ax in his right hand and with a goat skin draped over his left arm; to left, tamgha; to right, Buddhist triratana (“Three Jewels”). Donum Burns 81. MK 18 (O5α/R21). Nearly extremely fine.
