KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tigranes VI, second reign, 66-67. Tetrachalkon (Bronze, 20 mm, 4.93 g, 12 h), Arados or coastal mint, dated year 325 (TEK) = 66-67AD. Jugate head of Tigranes VI, diademed and wearing five-pointed tiara decorated with three eagles, and his wife wearing Phrygian cap, to right; the whole, within ivy wreath. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ TIΓPANOY MEΓAΛOY The Tyche of Arados seated left on horizontal rudder, holding cornucopia with her left hand; in right field TEK. ACV 178. CAA -. Kovacs 198.1. A very rare variety with a very unusual minting error on the flan. About very fine.
