Giulio (Silver, 27mm, 3.29 g 6), mintmaster Bartolomeo Canobio, year II = 1551-1552. .IVLIVS.III..P.M.A.II Bearded bust of Julius III to left, wearing ornamental robes. Rev. OMNIA TVTA VIDES Roma, helmeted and wearing armor, seated left on rock, holding wreath in her outstretched right hand and resting her left at her side; on the rock, ROMA; to left at her feet, mintmaster’s sign. CNI XV, p. 430, 53 var. Muntoni 16. A very attractive toned example. Very minor flan crack, otherwise, about extremely fine.
