CALABRIA. Tarentum. circa 302-280 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 3.20 g, 9 h), Helmeted head of Athena right, helmet decorated with Skylla throwing stone. Rev. TAP Owl standing right, head facing; olive branch to right; ZOP upward in the upper right field. Vlasto 1047–52. HN Italy 975. Clear, well struck example with beautiful details. Slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.

May, Abdera 286 (same obverse die as 285). SNG Cop.-. Very rare, apparently only two specimens recorded by May. Good fine.

THESSALY, Thessalian League. Circa 196-27 BC. Stater (Silver, 24 mm, 6.05 g, 1 h), Kephalos and Themistogenes, magistrates. Head of Zeus to right, wearing oak wreath. Rev. ΘEΣΣAΛΩN / KEΦAΛOY / ΘEMIΣTO Athena Itonia striding right, hurling spear with her right hand and extending shield in her left. BCD 882.3. Lustrous, attractive example. Struck from slightly worn dies, otherwise, good very fine.

AKARNANIA. Leukas. Circa 350-320 BC. Stater (Silver, 20 mm, 8.51 g, 3 h). Pegasus flying right with straight wings. Rev. Λ Head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet; behind, kerykeion. BCD 221 var. and Calciati 93 var. (Λ on obverse). Attractively toned. Obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.

AKARNANIA. Leukas. circa 440-400 BC. Diobol (Silver, 11 mm, 0.66 g, 5 h), Pegasus with curled wing flying to right. Rev. ΔΙΟ Pegasos rearing facing, turned slightly to left. BCD Akarnania 183 SNG Cop. -. SNG Lockett 2293. Well centered and clear. Somewhat porous, usual for this issue, otherwise, good fine.
