ՒHPA-KΛEIΩN Trophy. HN Italy 1436. Naples, Santangelo 3794. Van Keuren 142. Attractive dark brown coloration and exceptional for issue. Nearly extremely fine.



This attractive bronze coinage from Herakleia was sometimes issued with a mintmark. Several are known: owl, shield (as in this case), bucranium, or a spear.
