BRUTTIUM. Rhegion. Circa 445-435 BC. Litra (Silver, 12.5 mm, 0.64 g, 12 h). Lion's head facing, seen from the front and above. Rev. RΕCΙ within an olive wrath tied at the left. Herzfelder Bα. HGC I, 1651. HN III 2485. SNG ANS 653 var. Toned. Struck on a defective flan resulting in two leaves of the reverse not being struck up (for these dies see the coin in the Salton Collection, Stack's January 2023, 26058, with an undamaged reverse), otherwise, good very fine.
